I was asked to share my parent's World War II stories earlier this year for Winston's in downtown Aurora. I have recently received my dad's military records and have been visiting with some special folks preserving the stories of the various Rosies who helped earn the victory in World War II.
This December will mark the 85th anniversary of Pearl Harbor. This was a catalyst for several people from all over the United States to step their support up a few notches as America came together for a common cause. The Congressional Gold Medal was approved for Rosies in 2024...almost 80 years after the war's end.
I recently received some records and certificates in the mail after a serendipitous online conversation with a lady in Hawaii who is a kindred spirit. She is meX100 and I can't wait to meet her someday soon.
Anyway, take a listen. See what you think. Feel free to reach out to hear about the various ways you can support some upcoming projects.
Until then, as always, ALL ROADS LEAD HOME.
